Empowering Primary Education in Nigeria
This initiative tackles the challenge of out-of-school children in Nigeria, focusing on public primary schools. With a staggering 18 million children lacking access to education, we aim to improve the quality and accessibility of primary education across the country.
One major hurdle is inadequate infrastructure. To address this, we’ve partnered with FIST Africa to provide learning aids to a primary school in Kabusa, an underserved community in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
We’re also conducting a comprehensive needs assessment of public primary schools in the FCT. This data will be used to engage stakeholders, including government officials, educators, and communities, in collaboratively developing solutions for a stronger primary education system in Nigeria.
